Tree glorious tree

This year once again Jason wanted to go cut a tree down.  Last year I said no more of those kind because they look so bad, but I decided that the tree could go with the rest of our house so he and the kids went hunting.  I didn't go too fat and lazy, but Aaron bless his heart helped Jason instead.
Dillon Dragging the tree, I bet he was a ton of help.
Lovely tree, yes there are several places with no branches.  In fact one whole side has no branches.  All the better to fit against the wall, right.
Of coarse Chewy is part of the adventure.

The next phase, of coarse, is decorating it.  We had big plans to do that on Thanksgiving, but it didn't turn out.  Jason made our Thanksgiving all by himself, aside from a little help from my mom, he needed a rest.  It was a fabulous dinner though.  We did get the tree decorated, and this I did help with.
My job was to hand out the ornaments.  Hard job but someone has to do it.
I always love how some branches will end up with fifty ornaments and some with none.
Dillon is old enough to help with lights and things like that. I am not as patient as I should be showing him how to do things.  Another drop in the therapy bucket.
Truman is really excited for Christmas this year.  This age is fun, because he just digs all the things we do and isn't too old to think they are lame.
There is the gang, with the finished product.
I am beginning to think Truman can't take a picture without doing the Pirate face.  What is with that?
Here is our tree our glorious tree!

Bun in the Oven

I feel bad because I have not really mentioned how my little muffin in my belly is doing.  I am almost 37+ weeks now (but who is counting right) and feel huge.  I had Jason take some pictures for me and I looked at them and realized I'm not any bigger than I was with any of my other kids.  I guess I am just whinier, yet another reason for no more babies.  This baby is big though.  I went into the doctor at 35 weeks and had been measuring one centimeter big the whole time, but I was measuring 2 centimeters  that week.  He had me go in for an ultra sound.  The tech and I were cracking up because according to the ultrasound the baby already weighed 7lbs and 15oz and I still had 5 weeks to go.  Anyway the ultrasound also found that I have too much amniotic fluid, which is a reason to be able to be induced earlier.  I should be started sometime at the first of December.  I will keep you posted.  Meanwhile indulge yourself with these pictures of me that are to die for!

Not all bad

For the last couple of weeks Jason and I have been battling some sort of mutating stomach virus, that has hit everyone in our family except Mr. Man Dillon.  He has always had a turbo immune system.  So in the midst of cleaning throw up (Truman) and poo (Elleree) we got some cute things that they did and said.  Check it out.
Elleree loves to help her Dad feed the dog.
It gets a bit difficult when they get to the bottom of the bag though!
That does not stop her.  She calls the dog "my dog Chewy". Never just Chewy.
She always calls her brothers "my boys".  She always says where are my boys.
No comments on the apparel please.  I know she is at that age when she insists on dressing herself.  Sometimes 3 or 4 times a day!
My favorite thing she said to me " mom you no smell good, you need to take a shower".  She is my shower Nazi.
One a completely different note, it's fall here and Truman has been bringing me leaves.  Yes, everyday on his way home from school he brings me 2 or 3 leaves, he acts like the leaves are flowers.  He says to me "mom look what I got you", like they are the coolest thing ever and he didn't just find it on the side of the road.  What really gets me is that I am not allowed to throw them away.  So this is a picture of my pile of leaves, heaven help me, he is cute!

All of October

Some how the whole month of October got the best of me, so this is going to be a really long post tune in and out at your leasure!

The first part of the month was a trip to see the old sister.  Mom and Dad were kind enough to come along so that I wasn't the pregnant lady with three wild kids, instead I was the pregnant lady with three wild kids and two old people, Just kidding.  I have friends that moved to Colorado this summer, so we hooked up with them at a Boondocks and had a good time.
The kids got to play miniature golf, as you can see Elleree is a pro.  They rode bumper boats, raced cars, played lazer tag, played in the play land, and played a ton of video games.  It was a long day.

Next day we went to this super cool park/museum it has sculptures and other cool things made out of junk.  This guy has all this land, and junk and lets people walk around and enjoy themselves.
My kids really liked the place where they had instruments they made a ton of noise.  They had huge chimes, and horns anything that would conduct sound.
My mom even consented to have her photo taken.  I think she is adorable with the kids, but she hate having her picture taken.

The kids of coarse have no problem having their pictures taken.
Who's huge kid is that?  Oh yeah that is Allison's 1 year old, isn't he adorable!
We had to have some cousin loves.  We had a good time visiting them, too bad they are not closer!
When we came back Jason had made trip to the place I like to call (The house that will not sell) and picked these pumpkins from his garden.  They are amazing and I have to say Jason was very proud of them!
One weekend we got to have Paisley and Ivan come for a visit.  Most of the family doesn't get to see her very often, so I put some picture here of her.  She is quite the little independent thing and doesn't like to have a picture taken!  She is super cute  though!
We carved the Pumpkins for family home evening one night.  Jason was so happy we didn't even have to pay for them this year.  I made Truman help me clean out his pumpkin.  Yeah, he threw up after touching the gooey stuff (surprise, surprise).
Dillon and Elleree were all over cleaning the pumpkins and carving them.
Truman's "vampire bat" as he called it.  He was very proud of it.  Elleree went to bed because she wasn't feeling well, Jason finished carving hers, and then we put it in her bedroom as a night light she loved it.
Dillon and his completed pumpkin it was also a bat.  Don't even ask me about the no shirt!
All three pumpkins and some really fearsome boys!
We had so many pumpkins that the kids were able to pant a pumpkin as well.  They are quite the artists.
For Halloween we went to a Trunk-or-Treat with our ward on Friday.  The kids enjoyed that.  Then on Saturday we got up early and went to Mackay.  We went trick-or-treating there and also went to the carnival.  I was extreamly bumed not to throw my anual Halloween party it has been 7 years now that I have been doing it.  We just didn't have the space, money, energy, or the friends/family to do it this year.  I missed it terribly, and hopefully I will be able to do it again next year!!
Elleree my little dinosaur, she picked this costume out by herself and wouldn't take off the hat all night!  Dillon was the grim reaper, but got made if anyone called him that because the costume package called it some sort of phantom.  Truman was batman, and of coarse we couldn't be the batman we already hat the costume for oh no, don't ask me why he kept sticking out his tongue.
