11th Day of Disney

Okay today was
the 11th day of Disney
we watched Dinosaur,
and decorated bone cookies. I know what you are thinking, those looks more like dog bones than dinosaur bones (or you are thinking no they don't look like anything). You would be right, but who cares the kids loved it. Plus, I got to eat the cookie dough and the cookies (which ended up making me sick but whatever). They made a huge mess, that still needs cleaned up as we speak. I know you are waiting in anticipation for what we will be doing tomorrow. Tune in next time, same bat channel, same bat place.

Cute Bow?

The kids are going to have their picture taken on Saturday. This is what Elleree is wearing. Really I am posting this to see if Allison thinks the bow that I made will work with the dress. I am not sure it matches that well. I am planing on curling her hair and, just putting it off to the side, kind of what Rachelle does. What do you think? I'm not doing the pigtails, because I did that for her last pictures.

12 Days of Disney

Today is the first day of our "12 days to Disney". What we have to do is pick 12 Disney movies that we want to watch and then come up with an activity that goes along with that movie. The point is to get the kids more pumped up for our trip, and more familiar with the Disney characters. So, tonight we are watching Cars, and then playing Cars on the Wii. Hopefully it will get less stressful as the days go by, because it was kind of hard tonight. To do Scouts, homework, dinner, movie and activity done tonight was a little difficult. But hey it's all fun right!

Finaly done, almost

My basement has carpet now! I am really happy. The bonus is that each time we end up having to have work done on the house we end up with nicer carpet than what we had originally. All the restoration people have left to do is clean all the carpets in the rest of the rooms in the basement, to make sure all the contamination "poop" has been removed. Then my basement will be back in business!! Woot Woot!

Good Rubdown

I have started this new exercise routine, it's called P90X. It is really intense and each day I do a new workout, so I have been sore nonstop. I have to say though the program has a Yoga portion to it, and I have really started to enjoy Yoga. Call me crazy. Anyway, Jason was giving me a back rub and Elleree decided that she wanted to help too. Jason took some cute pictures of her working on my back. She does good work.

Good Visit

Yesterday I went through a session at the Idaho Falls Temple, and who should I see there? Why, my grandma Vaden, we ended up in the same session together. I didn't see her until the very end. We ended up getting to talk to each other for about an hour. I was so nice to see her there, I almost started to cry. I miss talking to her all the time. Sometimes I wish life wasn't so hectic. But alas, as a good friend of mine always says "it is, what it is". Thanks grandma, and I love you!!

First Pedicure

So last night I went and got my first Pedicure with my friend Jamie. She just got her degree in Accouting, after going to school with three kids (twins and a little girl), a full time job, and everything else that goes with life. We decided we needed to go and celebrate by having a girls night out. We had the deluxe pedicure done, and then went out to dinner. It was a good time. I am super proud of her! I know I would not have been able to do it, if our situations where reversed, she is amazing!

Why does it always take so long?

So my sewer back up after we came back from Redfish. Yes, that's right almost two months ago. These are pictures of what my basement still looks like, because they have not put it back together. I am tiered of not having carpet. I can't figure out for the life of me why things always have to take so long. A week or two, I get, but two months. Really, really. Maybe someday my house will stop falling apart, and I wont have to worry about things like this!

What are you doing?

I am afraid that I am going to have a lot of posts titled this. So here is my daughter doing her latest trick. It seems she likes to stick things down her shirt, food, money, toys, really anything.
This time it is seasoned french fries. It cracks me up! I mean I tell her no and she gets in trouble, but at the end of the day when I am getting her ready for bed it is kind of funny to see the things that she has shoved down her shirt. I think she might be one of those women when she grows up that keeps her cell phone, money what ever in her bra. Jason says he sees that all the time at the Pharmacy. He is always amazed at what women pull out of there.

Miniatures

So I took this picture of these really cute miniatures that I bought for the kids. Finding Nemo, and yes they are on a quarter. Turns out my kid don't really care about little things. How do I get my kids to get into the things I think are cool? I know that as parents we should let them be what they will be, but I am all into brainwashing these days.

Eli's blanket

I made Eli this really ugly blanket. Allison says she likes it, but I know she really hates it, because I spent a really long time on it.

My luck!

My first day home from my vacation, and my kitchen faucet breaks! This is so my luck!

A little hiking trip.

Jason and Dillon went on a little hiking trip. I am not entirely sure where they went, but they got some great pictures.
