Crazy Kid

My kids have full reign of my Ipad.  The other day I turned it on and saw that Elleree had taken a whooping 358 pictures in one day.
There were the random pictures like this.
But for the most part she took them of her self.  There were normal ones like this.
She found some funky ways to take more of herself like these.

She figured out how to get distorted ones like these.

 Lots of beautiful close ups.
She even did her hair for a couple.
There were literally over 50 pictures of Beckett's pig.  I'm not sure she ever got the "right" one of it.  This kid is crazy, and none of you better say like her mother!

Sister Love

So about two weeks ago my sister got to come for a visit.  It was awesome!  Her husband gave it to her as one of her Christmas presents, she found a super cheap ticket.  He took the week off of work, so he could watch the kids while she came and hung out with me.  And.....that was pretty much all we did was hang out.

My parents came up for a few days and we hung out with them.
Ivan and Dakota came and we hung out with them.
We did a little shopping and went and visited with a couple of my friends.
Sadly we forgot to take any pictures of us.  We said we would take some from our phones at the airport, but we forgot.  We suck....  I did however score these pictures from her.

I got tired of waiting for a family picture, that I could hang in my house. So I had her just snap one of us.  She played with a it a bit and it turned out pretty cute.  She is going to be redoing my blog header too, so I am super excited about that.  My sister pretty much rocks.  I miss her sooo much sometimes it hurts.  We are getting better at the good byes and the longer amounts of time between visits, but it still sucks.  I am grateful however, that she was able to come and send lots of hugs and kisses their way!

A Little Tripsy

So this last weekend Jason took two, yes two days off.  He hasn't taken a full day off since he bought the pharmacy, but he took two days off because he planed a romantical get away with just the two of us.  That however did not pan out.  So Jason decided to take the family on a little trip to Boise.
We first went to the Discovery Meusuem.  It had "The Body" exhibit that we wanted to see. I forgot my camera, so all these outstanding pictures were taken with my phone.
It is a discovery museum so of coarse it had some cool hands on things for the kids to do.
Some of it we had not seen before and were really neat.

We then went to check out the "dead bodies" as my kids like to call them.  We got to touch a real brain.
The exhibit was okay, but honestly Jason was not too impressed.  He was disapointed and felt like it lacked many things, and was not very easy to follow even with his back ground.
The kids got board in seconds.

I just didn't' like it that much.  I thought that it would be cool, but I couldn't stop thinking that these were people once. That lung with cancer, those uterus, those poor baby sculls all poor dead people,or worse babies.  I am not really good at seporating myself, hence the reason that I am not in any medical profession. No cadaver labs for me!
We then ventured to the Birds of Prey Meusum.  Dillon was super excited about this, because they came to his school and showed him some amazing birds once.
Probably cooler with them showing you.  But it was neat to see some of these guys close up.
They had some California Condors that were pretty awesome. They are huge. It is neat to see something that is so near extinction.
They had a fun hands on room with fun things for the kids to play with.
 Okay Jason had fun too.
Dillon like mauling everyone with his huge stuffed owl.
Elleree had to have her picture taken with all the stuffed owls.
 She loves owls.
 Funny nut.

I liked the eagle most of all, we talked the two of us.  They are so big, I don't think I have ever seen one so close before. Very majestic creatures.

Jason is OLD

Jason had a birthday this last month.  Bless his heart he is such a good sport with me as his wife.
I made him a cake.  He doesn't like frosting so I made him and angle food cake.  Check out my cool mini banner.  I felted the balls all by my self, well my mom helped.  That is her new love felting.  It's actually kind of fun.
Alli was here to help celebrate, so I didn't have have to worry about taking pictures and doing everything else.  She took care of the pictures.
It's fun to have us all together in a picture.

I got Jason a Popcorn machine for our theater room.  He didn't necessarily want one, but he was a good sport and pretended that he did.
We were all really excited to test out the machine.
It took a few batches to try and get the flavor just right.  We still don't quite right, but it's getting there.
So anyone who wants to stop by and have some popcorn is invited and welcome!  Happy Birthday Jason.

Back in the Saddle

I am back in the Saddle again.  I don't know why by I pretty much didn't blog for the whole month of February.
January and February we spent every weekend at basketball games for the boys.
Dillon is at the age that I actually like to watch him play.
Sometimes it was painful though.  Jerome's program consists of no practices (well a half hour before the game) and games once a week.
So the kids don't really improve very much and they don't get to know each other every well.
The referees are 12 year old, so sometimes the games got pretty interesting.
Truman......well this is the most energy he showed in the whole game.
He and his age group are really hard to watch.  Truman's philosophy seemed to be wherever the ball is be the furthest from it.
I did get some pictures of some sweet moves though.
Sometimes he would even figure out which was the right basket.
He is like his mother with the tongue, it does help I promise!
