It might be family karma.
I returned to Tucson to find a fridge that didn't work and worse AC that was on the fritz.
One week later, after sleeping in 90 degrees and covered in sweat induced acne it was finally all remedied!
Did you get a new one yet? You know you wanted one like our new one right??
