Jason's Stocking is finally done. It took me a month to cross-stitch it. I was kinda bummed though, when I hand washed it, you are supposed to do that after you are done, the color blue bled onto the white, and yellow. You can sort of see it in the picture that has Jason's name. So it doesn't look at good as I would have liked. I now have Dillon, Truman, Elleree and Jason's done. All I have left is my own. Maybe by Christmas.

Way to go DES!!!!
Man I would be peeved about that bleeding color business! If I actually "could" do that cross sticth stuff - which I can't - I would be pretty cranky about all that painstaking work being blurred...
With that said - I think it looks smashing, impressive and I think you are a masochist to undertake said minute detail work.
Bully for you!
Holy eye blinding detail work Batman!
Isn't it funny how we all have something we can be a bit OCD with but can't envision others OCDisms? I would never, repeat, never do all that cross stitch. I might go insane, BUT I can spend weeks on minutia in cold fusion research that would likely drive others mad.
Much admiration for your stitching dedication. It looks fabulous!
(I'm with Crazy, I'd have a hard time not being bitter about the blue.)
I used to cross stitch all the time. I made a stocking for Dennis & Oma & Opa--not to mention a few other crazy things in my cross stitching days--baby blankets for each boy. It's alot of work. Maybe I'll have to post mine too. It was a phase I went through and now I don't do it at all--not that I could see to do it anyway! Good work. I know the bleeding thing is a pain but no one will notice unless you mention it! Great job.
