Boxes Rock

So, I changed my blog, and am having technical difficulties you will have to stay with me until I figure them out.  Our neighbors brought this box over for my kids to play in.  They loved it.  They painted it and decided that it was a rocket ship named spiky (don't ask).  The little girl who is Truman's friend Gabby.  I used to babysit her, and now she just stops by every so often to visit, and play.  Elleree copies everything she does.  I need to get some girl friends for her.

OHH how I loved big boxes, that is when they would let us keep them. You're an extra cool mom for letting them paint it. They have no idea how good they have it! Love their smiles!

Boxes are the best! At least Gabby is hot so she's okay for Elloree to follow around!

Hey! That looks like loads of fun. Several Halloween costumes for my boys involved cardboard boxes. And if you live in a South American country some of those boxes would be called home...
I think Miss Elleree probably likes a little girl companionship. They looks awfully happy with their heads poking out the window there.
Fun!

Isn't it so great to see your kids creativity come out. And big hand to you for letting them paint. On Lightning Thief all I can say is the movie is never as good as the book.

I SOOO loved playing in the dryer and fridge boxes from the yard growing up.
Who needs Wii?

What a great day for them.

I remember a refrigerator box that my kids totally loved and played with til it fell apart. I also recall making a "car" for them out of a box. Think I got the idea from Family Fun. Boxes ARE way cool as entertainment for sure. The kids look like they had a blast.
