Problem was that there was never a game where the sun shined. It was freezing, cold, and half the time raining for all his games. Poor Dillon.
He had a good couch and a cute team.
Truman as always was another matter all together. We decided to start him off in Soccer as his first sport, because we figure if he throws up that at least it would be outside right. He never threw up. He did like to wonder around the field though.
I was torn between cheering him on!
Both boys were very cute in their soccer uniforms!

Soccer is a great sport for any kid because pretty much any kid can play it regardless of the physical abilities. All three of my boys have played it since they were about 6. It is always cold and wet here for soccer (in the Fall/winter) so they don't know how to play it in any other weather. It is pretty funny to watch them when they are young though.
Ahh soccer I think my all time favorite memory is the year Kelsey started there were all this tiny little girls running around and tapping the ball rather tentatively trying to figure out what to do. Then one girl belted the ball and it knocked the wind out of a girl. They all stopped dead in their tracks, concerned with horrified looks on their faces. The sad thing was that lasted til about the second game - then they were all business - Well excpet for Kelsey :0) She would be playing goalie picking flowers, thinking about...cats? animals? whatever.
Soccer is great for kids. I MUCH prefer soccer to any other team sport.
