My Baby Girl

My baby girl is growing up.  When we moved Jason and I decided that she needed to start sleeping in a bed instead of the crib (perils of having another child on the way).  So we went and found her a bed. I took her shopping for a comforter and sheets.  She fell, I mean absolutly fell in love with this comforter.  I was not a big fan so I tried to change her mind, as she drug it all over the store, giving it hugs.  Every one I thought was cute she would say " I no want it", or "let Morgan have it".  Finally I gave in and bought it for her, she is spoiled!

I got it home and Jason took one look and said take it back I don't like it.  I said but she loves it, and it's her bed.  Jason said take it back she will change her mind.  So the next morning she was telling me how much she loved her comforter, and I told her daddy said we have to take it back, she looks at me and says "so what we going to do about that".  Jason was listening in on the conversation and said fine she can keep it.  So she is happy sleeping in her new bed, she took to it like a fish to water.

Better get used to the idea of her liking what she likes...It's only a comforter. Now when she's 16 and brings home a scary lookin boy - that's another story!
Impressive that she stood up for what she wanted instead of caving to pressure... Independent like her mom? :0)
(I bet she DOES love it :0)

"So what we gonna do bout it"

She is a planner already. Work that system! (:

I'm with Crazy.. it's only a comforter. Now if she tires in a month that is where her lesson comes in. She picked it... its hers for the long haul.

I can't help but notice.....It seems absolutely perfect for a Barbie Dream House.

Oooh, I miss her!! It does look a little more grown up, so you won't have to upgrade later down the road?)

I think it's cute and I kind-of like the attitude-guided in the right direction of course. Girls need to be strong. Any luck on the house hunt?

Not sure what you don't like about it. It's very girlie! She knows what she likes that's for sure. Smart as a whip already too. You'll have to watch that one!

Humm... Who has whom wrapped around their little finger?? I like the comforter. It seems bright and cheery. Bet it makes her seem even more grown up to have her in a big girl bed. We love you guys!
