The first part of the month was a trip to see the old sister. Mom and Dad were kind enough to come along so that I wasn't the pregnant lady with three wild kids, instead I was the pregnant lady with three wild kids and two old people, Just kidding. I have friends that moved to Colorado this summer, so we hooked up with them at a Boondocks and had a good time.
The kids got to play miniature golf, as you can see Elleree is a pro. They rode bumper boats, raced cars, played lazer tag, played in the play land, and played a ton of video games. It was a long day.
Next day we went to this super cool park/museum it has sculptures and other cool things made out of junk. This guy has all this land, and junk and lets people walk around and enjoy themselves.
My kids really liked the place where they had instruments they made a ton of noise. They had huge chimes, and horns anything that would conduct sound.
My mom even consented to have her photo taken. I think she is adorable with the kids, but she hate having her picture taken.
The kids of coarse have no problem having their pictures taken.
Who's huge kid is that? Oh yeah that is Allison's 1 year old, isn't he adorable!
We had to have some cousin loves. We had a good time visiting them, too bad they are not closer!
When we came back Jason had made trip to the place I like to call (The house that will not sell) and picked these pumpkins from his garden. They are amazing and I have to say Jason was very proud of them!
One weekend we got to have Paisley and Ivan come for a visit. Most of the family doesn't get to see her very often, so I put some picture here of her. She is quite the little independent thing and doesn't like to have a picture taken! She is super cute though!
We carved the Pumpkins for family home evening one night. Jason was so happy we didn't even have to pay for them this year. I made Truman help me clean out his pumpkin. Yeah, he threw up after touching the gooey stuff (surprise, surprise).
Dillon and Elleree were all over cleaning the pumpkins and carving them.
Truman's "vampire bat" as he called it. He was very proud of it. Elleree went to bed because she wasn't feeling well, Jason finished carving hers, and then we put it in her bedroom as a night light she loved it.
Dillon and his completed pumpkin it was also a bat. Don't even ask me about the no shirt!
All three pumpkins and some really fearsome boys!
We had so many pumpkins that the kids were able to pant a pumpkin as well. They are quite the artists.
For Halloween we went to a Trunk-or-Treat with our ward on Friday. The kids enjoyed that. Then on Saturday we got up early and went to Mackay. We went trick-or-treating there and also went to the carnival. I was extreamly bumed not to throw my anual Halloween party it has been 7 years now that I have been doing it. We just didn't have the space, money, energy, or the friends/family to do it this year. I missed it terribly, and hopefully I will be able to do it again next year!!Elleree my little dinosaur, she picked this costume out by herself and wouldn't take off the hat all night! Dillon was the grim reaper, but got made if anyone called him that because the costume package called it some sort of phantom. Truman was batman, and of coarse we couldn't be the batman we already hat the costume for oh no, don't ask me why he kept sticking out his tongue.

aahh,if only YOU lived closer! We loved seeing you, contrary to the look on my face in that awful picture! REALLY?? Your pumpkin pictures are great! When ours were lit you could see right inside to all the lingering gunk! I love Elleree's smile, she is to stinking cute, and I like BLUE batman! You are missing all of the awesome pictures of Dillon in front of every sculpture;) That kid cracks me up!
Looks like you had tons of fun! They all look so cute! Wish we could have been there! I missed the annual Halloween party this year. You always go all out on them, but there is always next year. I wish we were closer to you guys! We miss being able to see you more!
What a great post! Thank you for all the catch up and great pictures.
Hurrah!
So many thoughts, I'll try to be brief.
-The park you went to in Colorado looks so cool and fun (and perhaps dangerous?) (: And I especially appreciate seeing your mom with all the grandkids. They love her to death as she loves them.
-Jasons pumpkins from the house that will not sell. R.O.C.K. How cool is that? Did anyone make pie or anything too?
-Love the Elleree grin with her and Jason in the bedroom. Alli is right, she is stinkin cute.
-I got the no shirts... uhh. pumkin goo.
-Love seeing Miss Paisley and Ivan. She has changed so much since summer. Oy, kids grow
-Finally. The phantom reaper also looks like a night time beekeeper. That is one multi-purpose costume!
-Also like seeing your cutie pie face in the pumpkin carving pictures. Cute hair, baby's a comin.
Whew... that's it.
Loved it. All of it.
GREAT costumes...its about time that you updated! :) Miss you guys as well! Looks like all is going well though and I'm happy for you!
You had a MUCH better photo month than I did! There's a place in Chubbuck that has all sorts of "things" built out of assorted manmade castoffs. Some are pretty cool and some just weird. That park looks like the same type of deal. A great place for kids.
Ann looks great! She's a good gramma with all those cute kiddos.
The pumpkins are/were impressive! Not to mention massive! Jason is quite the gardener. I loved the carving photos no matter what the attire...
The grim reaper costume brought back memories of my boys - well Jaron - who was a reaper for at least 3 years running - maybe more..
It was nice to see you in the spirit of carving all things orange too.
A nice post. One of these days I'll get a moment to post my lame-o autumn pics...one of these days...
Very nice to catch up on the Readings! October was a busy month for you. Loved all the cute, cute photos of your kids. Your mom looks great too. Of course she is a good grandma. That's a no brainer. Always nice to know what's been going on with you.
You were busy this month! Love the picture with Grandma! Love the pumpkins...those were some nice pumpkins!!! Love the costumes! Love that park....a kids paradise, eh? What a fun post!
Oh, the cute kids and pumpkins, and so much cuteness I just can't handle it!
Seriously.....Way jealous of the pumpkins Jason grew in your garden!! Those are awesome, we tried to grow pumpkins for years and could never get them to grow more than the size of baby pumpkins. Awesome green thumb :)
Miss YOU. Love the halloween pics too. Elleree is adorable in her dinosaur costume!!
