This weeks update

Let us review this weeks adventures.

Yesterday, Sunday, we had to cancel Beckett's baby blessing because said little boy was sick again and he had to go to the hospital again.  Thanks Grandma for calling everyone and telling them it was canceled!

I was glad I was the one staying home with Beckett, because I would have been really embarrassed at church.  They got up and announced we were blessing him, Jason had to walk all the way to the front and explain to the bishop, who is like half deaf that we weren't going to bless him, Awkward!

Saturday they let Beckett out of the hospital.  They gave him the cutest little turtle thing for his respiratory treatments.  You can see it is tiny and he is a little turtle!
Our neighbors from Idaho Falls also came and visited us.  We sat and shot the breeze while the kids played.  It was really nice to see our friends.  I miss them like crazy!

Friday I took Beckett to the doctor because he was grunting when he was breathing and had stopped eating.  I was really proud of myself for not waiting and having to go to the ER that night or on Saturday.  I thought I would nip it in the bud and make it so we didn't have to end up in the hospital.  Ha Ha Ha.  Silly rabbit tricks are for kids.  Luckily this time it was only for one day.

Thursday I took Truman and Elleree to the doctor because Truman had been sick with a fever since the previous Sunday and Elleree had the same fever since Tuesday.  Turns out they had strep throat poor bugs.

The rest of the week was spent handing out medicine and doing my awesome crafts:

These are my decorative balls made out of cupcake liners.  I know what you are thinking (Why?).  Yeah well I am going half crazy, and need things to do even if it is making things out of cupcake liners!

This is my Valentine's Day wreath made out of felt.  I decided I like felt.  It was supposed to be made in the shape of a heart, but Twin Falls awesome craft stores don't have hart shaped Styrofoam.  Whatever.

This is a protective case I made for my new iPhone.  Yeah after I was bragging about how my cheap flip phone was indestructible, I dropped it and broke it.  Jason went and got us new phones.  I am scared to drop it, or have it get smashed in my purse, or what ever so I made this case.

Well, that is all the up dates I have for this week.  I think I may rename me blog Sick kids and Crafts.  That pretty much sums up my life!

Well... I suppose any hopes of Beckett being a sick proof kid like Dillon are quickly slipping away.

I'm soooo sorry!

How on EARTH do you manage to make anything with that kind of stress. I'd be in a ball on the couch alternating tears and sleep.

AS to the crafts. I think the cupcake liner balls are super cool. Can I order a dozen in periwinkle and lime green?

Des, you are such a cool tough bean. I want to come hang out and be your Twin Falls friend.

Thanks for the updates... I'm just sorry they keep including sick kids!

So sorry to hear about little Beckett being sick. No fun! Love the cute little balls out of cupcake liners--very clever. I like felt too! I went through a phase where I was making all kinds of things with felt. I'm not so crafty now, but definitely went through a phase. Spencer says Jason should buy him an i-phone too (he just thought you should know). Wish we lived closer! The best I can do is send you a virtual hug & kisses (xoxoxoxo) :-)

I think that little turtle breather IS cute! It does make him look adorable evn though he's not feeling well. I like the phoe case. I should get one with one of those zip attachment things that go on a belt - you know like the janitors use for thier keys. MAYBE that way I could keep track of mine. Maybe. Even if I COULD keep track of it - I would still need help knowing how to get it off speaker phone, and silent, and how to save stuff.. oops...Little sidetrack there.
I think your crafts are way cute. A good way to relieve a little stress. Not that you have any stress at all...
Hang in their cutie! You're doing a fantastic job. Love you bunches! Can't wait to meet lil Mr. Beckett - with or without the turtle mask.

Des, I am so sorry for not letting everyone know about Beckett's blessing! That would have been very embarrasing for Jason! I wish I could have helped out. I did offer to come watch the other kids but Jason insisted they would be ok. I have had a cough this past week and we wanted to come see you guys but wasn't sure it was best to be there with my cough. Sorry once again! I love you guys and have been worried sick about Beckett, and all of you for that matter! By the way I love your crafts! Not sure how you get them all done with sick kids. You must just be quicker than me or more crafty! I was always to slow for that and even slower now. At any rate I love them and love you guys!

I seriously LOVE your crafts...and your kids too! I feel bad that your little guy has been so sick. that is super stressful. He looks adorable with his little turtle mask though! Hope you guys are getting well!
