Ta Da

So I am kind of manic when it comes to doing crafts. When I do them I do a ton all at once. Here are some of the things I have been working on.This is my awesome attempt at weaving. They had this thing in the Family Fun Magazine on how to weave a rug using a hula hoop and old t-shirts. Anyway I used a embroidery hoop and made a basket instead of a rug. Yeah it's going in the garbage, but it was a cute idea.
These are little birds mom cut out for a friend and she had some left over. I think they turned out cute.

This is a little wall hanging Easter egg thing. I used rick-rack and button, I think it turned out cute too.

Theses are my cool bobble heads. Okay so I am no good with faces, or decorating eggs apparently! I can copy things, but coming up with my own is not such a good idea.
My mom was so awesome. She let me come down just for a day even though my kids were still sick. I was going crazy and had not been out of the house in like two weeks. She watched the kids while I worked on my projects.
I am very proud of my skirt. It turned out super cute, and I made up the ruffle at the bottom all by myself. The material is fun and out of control. Just the way I like it.
While I was making it I realized our room is the babies room, office, sewing/craft room, and exercise room. Yeah we used to have separate rooms for each of these things. We are good at downsizing!

Those are such fun projects! I think they turned out well. You[re too hard on yourself about the face thing. I LOVE your skirt! Nice of your mom to hook you up with the cutouts and the childcare :0)
Downsizing? One room to clean versus 4? That's FANTASTIC!
Keep on Crafting there Missy! You're a natural!

I remember crafting! I was the same way, go, go, go then I would be done with it for good. Haven't crafted for years now. It's great that you have fun doing it and you certainly have a knack despite your self put-down. I thought they all looked great. I was always doing things out of Family Fun when the kids were younger. It's an awesome magazine for when you have young kids (I stopped getting it about a year ago--which just shows I'm getting old I guess). Crafting can be fun AND theraputic. Keep it up.

First of all, you are so good at crafts! I love them all! Well, ok the basket is a little funky, but the rest of them I would totally put in my house! And the skirt is cute too, make one for me so we can be twinners? And if you are ever going crazy again and need to get out of the house, mine is available! Xander named his new cow Elleree, just wanted you to know your sweet girl is still making appearances at our house.

The faces on those animals are fabulous. Love em!

How can you say you aren't "good" at this? You are. Period.

The ruffle on the skirt it Fab, as well.

Glad you are finding ways to express yourself and keep sane.

Also super glad you are all well!

You have been busy. All your crafts are super cute, but I especially love the skirt. I saw that weaaving thing, but wasn't brave enough to try it. Wondering, since I don't have your email-did your house sale? Do you happen to know a Billy and Jocelyn McCracken?
