It's fall and for my boys that means football. This year Jason signed them up with Twin Falls Park and Rec. So we spent a ton of time driving them to and from practice and to games. I actually only went to one game. I am not a real fan of football, but I did get some pictures.
It is always cold and early, I used those as excuses not to go.
Trumans age group is still a crack up to watch.
It's more about getting your picture taken.
Dillon's coaches were a bunch of high school kids. It was a pretty tight operation.
Dillon did really well.
He was like the only one his age in the flag football. Most of the other kids are playing regular football in pads.
Jason wanted him to have one more year before he does that.
Okay so when I came back from NC my vacuum cleaner was broken in like 4 places I swear the kids must have thrown it down the stairs. So I decided I could fix it myself. I took it apart and ordered all the broken parts.
It worked. I won't pretend that I didn't have help (the fact that I didn't write down where the wires go to the circuit board, or couldn't figure out where 3 screw went) because I did. But, the important part is that I fixed it. I am really proud of myself, just so you know.

What a mechanical wizard you are! We have been happy that none of our kids wanted to play football up here. It's very formally organized at a young age here and super expensive. The only one who may show an interest is Cooper but even he is ambivalent. Looks like your boys dig it though. I'm with you on the cold and early--that would make me not want to go too!
You are SO brave to take on that vacuum! You are a genius! (in my book... which it is kinda easy to make it in)
(:
I've never been a fan of sports that involve punching, shoving, muscle-ing etc. I'm glad they are doing flag.
Early mornings... I'm out. Totally understand that choice.
They certainly look as if they enjoy it!
Ah the broken vacuum deal...I remember watching mom take our apart as we were growing up many a time. So when mine broke in college I took it apart. And then could not even begin to put it back together. The next time I saw mom she put it back together in a snap. You must have a little of her in you girl!
Good for you on all counts, picture taking, sleeping in, vacuum fixing mom extrordinaire!
I would have never taken on the vacuum, I'm impressed. Fun fall
