I am a total slacker. School started and so did my crazy. We start after Labor Day every year, around here.
Truman started 3rd grade with Mrs. Blunt.
Elleree is in Kindergarten with Mrs. Walters.
Does anyone else hate half day Kindergarten? It breaks up my whole day I have 2 hours before I pick Elleree up, then 2 hours until I have to pick Dillon up. My whole day is in 2 hour increments. I get doing something and oh it's time to pick up whoever. Sorry had to vent there for a minute.
Dillon is in 5th grade with Mrs VanOstran.
Same teacher he had last year. That is how they do there Gifted and Talented program. They have the same teacher for two years, heaven help us.
All ready to go.
Beckett was mad he wasn't getting his picture taken so, here is one with them all. Happy School year everyone!!

Back to School!
Isn't that supposed to be a break?
Sounds like craziness every two hours. OY!
Thanks for sharing the pics. Love seeing them.
PS. I'll post a pic of my finger... it is pretty hard to take a picture with your left hand though!
I love that Beckett is in his jammies! I wish I could have been in my jammies the first day of school. Crazy how much taller Dillon is. He's getting so grown up and you can really see it in these pictures. Do they do middle school or jr high there? Here he would be one year away from middle school-top class in elementary is 5th grade. 1/2 day kinder really is yucky. Lucky for us Tukcer was only in it for about a week then got into the full day. After the our district had a pay for K program where you could pay extra to have a full day so that's what I did. It goes by fast for sure.
Love! Man you need a 3way carpool? Someone takes them all in the morning someone else does the kinder pick up, then someone takes the after noon shift. Only works though if you car pool with 3 people who have a kinder and grader.
Well those were fun photos! All the personalities came through and they all looked spiffy! Especially Beckett :0) I'm with Miste, I wish I could go in pjs...actually, I hate the kids wearing those to school. The ones that do regularly are the ones who either don't have access to a washer, or just don't use it... (I'm talking pajamas -not of fated sleepers. Though we have had kids come in them...sigh)
Oops! My turn for a rant.
I'm with you on the half day kinder deal. It's a ripoff. Dang it.
Thanks for a fun post. You always make me smile.
Ok...stupid auto correct... "Footed" not fated...though fated could be a pretty deep psychological thought...naw.
