Today is the first day of our "12 days to Disney". What we have to do is pick 12 Disney movies that we want to watch and then come up with an activity that goes along with that movie. The point is to get the kids more pumped up for our trip, and more familiar with the Disney characters. So, tonight we are watching Cars, and then playing Cars on the Wii. Hopefully it will get less stressful as the days go by, because it was kind of hard tonight. To do Scouts, homework, dinner, movie and activity done tonight was a little difficult. But hey it's all fun right!

What are the 12 movies? With 2 boys first I have my doubts it is much in the way of Cinderella and Little Mermaid.
Anyway, here are some thoughts. I'm sure most are not realistic, but remember I'm the cray aunt with no kids....who needs reality?
Monsters Inc. Draw or build your own personal Monster and his special door.
Finding Nemo-Marco Polo at the pool.
Alice in Wonderland: Dress up Tea party. (so boy like)
Wall-E-Service project pickup up road garbage?
Ratatouille- Kids "cook" and serve fancy dinner, or more realistic, you just eat out.
Emporer's New Groove-Visit the zoo to see a llama
The Incredibles- Design and model your own super suit. (What magic gift will everyone pick)
Sounds fun to me.
Fat Celiac, what great Ideas I am such a mucher of Ideas I am taking this one from Des and you those are such great ideas!!!
My votes,
101 Dalmations (the first Disney animated movie I remember seeing) and there is no better villan than Cruella - go on a stuffed animal in the house hunt- Are all safe and accounted for? ,
Jungle book I think I know two boys that would love to have some similar adventures - make banana bread - or jungle fruit smoothies.
Toy Story - Uh, pick up all the toys in the house so some bratty neighborhood bully doesn't turn em into cyborgs or blow em up.
Aladdin - another great boy adventure tale. Make a wish list of things you would ask a genie to do for you...
Tarzan-Do some exercises to get in shape for some tree swinging heroics - or just go to the playground and find some swings
Rescuers down under (another great woman villan)- Make Evinrude dragonfly veggie treats out of carrots, peanut butter and celery (I just loved that whole idea of the dragonfly boat motor).
Lion King- Help dad be king for the day and have the kids give him a backrub. I know Elleree already knows how to do the back rub thing...
I could go on...but you have more than 12 already. Hope you have a blast!!! The memories you're creating will be well worth the hassle.
