Yesterday's movie was Mary Poppins. This is one of my favorites, I sing along with all the songs (Don't judge me). The kids had never seen it before, and technically still haven't because they fell asleep during the bird lady song (feed the birds Tupins a bag, you know, you know the song). Anyway our activity was going outside and drawing with sidewalk chalk. We had a lot of fun! No scences that you could actually jump into, but the kids are true sidewalk artists. I know that fying a kite would have been fun, but it is cold, and not very windy this time of year. Let's go fly a kite, up to the hightest hight........

How can you not sing along to the songs when watching Mary Poppins?
Mary Poppins rocks. Who wouldn't want to jump into a sidewalk drawing? I have to admit though that "Feed the Birds" and that laughing song always had me a little bored.
You guys are building some great fun relationships with your kids in all this.
is she doing downward facing dog? Stink'n cute! Looks like good old fashion fun!
That first picture reminded me of Gulliver's Travels where all the tiny people come and tie giant Gulliver down... Looks like you have some future artists on your hands (or homicide detectives with the chalk outlines - though I don't think they really do that anymore).
