Adventures with Flat Stanley

Our nephew sent us this little paper boy named Flat Stanley. This little guy is supposed to go on adventures while you have him. So we took him to see Grandma and Grandpa Reading, and Auntie Kristy. We had
a good dinner with old Stanley. A couple of days latter we took him on one of Jason's "adventures". Now if you know us at all you know what I mean by Jason's "adventures". Quite often we end up lost, frozen, hungry, and tierd, but it always seems worth it at the end, because we spent time with each other and get to see something pretty cool in the bargain. This time was no exception. The only difference was we dragged our friends into it with us. They are pretty good sports. We took them, and Stanley to 16 mile cave, outside Idaho Falls. Of coarse we took the long way walking to the cave, and froze. The cave was cool in a freaky, vandalism sort of way. It had tons of graffiti. It was really big except for the few places that Tanya hit her head. The kids thought is was great, even Elleree she loved being able to hold her own flashlight. There was a pond/lake at the end that was so gross, it had garbage in it and I swear everytime someone flashed the light on it I could picture a dead body floating there. I was imagining us being in our own CSI episode, it was really creepy. It didn't help Jason said that they have found people dead in the cave over the years. Needless to say we left alot quicker than we came! We finished the adventure with Ice Cream and Reed's Dairy and viola it was an adventure worthy of my husband!

Jason comes up with the adventure (which he is good at) then you get to tell the story (which you are good at)

What a great match.

I helped once with a flat Stella. We took her to Yosemite and fed her chinese food for Thanksgiving.

Fun!

The only flat thing i've come up with lately was my last attempt at bread making. This sounds like a LOT more fun (in a creepy kind of way). It's great you got out and spent some fun time together.
