Summer fun comes to an end

I'm, as always, behind.  I never seem to be able to catch up. Here are some pictures of our latest adventures.

Beckett is always such a big helper.
I can't believe he is old enough to climb into the dishwasher.  He is such a monster.  That is my nickname for him.
My parents came for Labor Day weekend.  It was nice to see them.  It had been awhile since they have come to Twin for a visit.
My dad was good enough to play a little baseball with the boys.
They had a pretty good time.  We knew it was time to quit when they started crying and being poor sports.
The Monster on the other hand never had that problem.  He just sat on his little car, because he couldn't figure out how to get off of it. HeHeHe
Other news in the Reading home.  I got a new car!!  We have needed a vehicle that could hold all of us ever since Beckett was born.  Our truck is a 6 person, but I hate driving it and it's also takes a lot of gas.  This new one drives like a car and gets better gas mileage.  I love it!!!  Thanks honey!!
School started after Labor Day.  Aside for getting in trouble for talking during lunch (stupid rule) Dillon seems to enjoy school.
For the first week Truman constantly got his name "on the board".  He is doing better now.  He informed me he hates school.
I was happy to hear the the boys sometimes play together at recess.  Is it silly of me to hope these two will be close?
Elleree started school as well, pre-school that is.  She cried the first day, but really likes it now.  I love it.  A little time with just one kid is awesome!  Don't ask about her outfit.  She refuses to let me help her get dressed.  She is very fashion savvy, as you can see.
We have been skiing a lot in the past few weeks.  We found a place we like, only problem is that no one seems to feel they need to have a spotter.  Very dangerous, especially on the river.
As you can see the Monster is much happier when he doesn't have to wear his life jacket.  He loves to drive!
Of coarse we can't have one without the other.
This picture is for Allison.  See he loves his snorkeling gear.  Thanks!

You can't talk during lunch?
What's up with that?

Oh the kiddies are growing. The monster has changed leaps. Is he no longer a ginger?

Glad you have a few moments of one kid only.

Can't wait to see the ensuing crafts.

Great photos. Congrats on the new car--that's always fun! The boys look as mischeivous as ever. Elleree must be related to her Aunt Miste who was known in her younger years to dress in things that didn't necessarily go to gether :)

You seemed to pack a lot of of fun into the summer. What a sweet new car! Bet you're loving that :0)
Truman isn't alone in the trouble at school department. Both Chloe and Leyla have been "reported" for misbehavior. It's tough figuring out just what does and does not go in new situations. Hope Truman figures out something he likes about it...maybe if they'd let him wear his flippers and snorkel?
And I think MIss Elleree looks grand! But then there IS a standing tradition of girls with Vaden DNA wearing "different" clothes... :0) Creativity I tell ya!
