Jason has a hard job around this time of year every year. He have Christmas, Anniversary, and my Birthday all within a little over two weeks. This year has been crazy for him with his dad's passing and him getting everything ready to buy the pharmacy. We were kind of low key.
We celebrated our 13th Anniversary this year. We just went out to lunch and then went and bought a new receiver for our theater room. Now we can acctually use the room for what it is intended for, instead of just a big waste of space. Well it's still kinda a waste of space, but don't tell Jason that.
Next came my birthday. Normaly I am sick, or my birthday just plain sucks. Not this year though. It was looking bad when I woke up to Beckett having pooped out of his diaper over night, but it did get better.
Jason always makes me a cake, love the smiley face candles and the minion figurine in the corner.
All four of the kids helped blow out the candles so there was no way I didn't get my wish.
I got presents from the kids and from family.
But the best gift Jason got me was a iPad Mini.
Well he had his mom win it for me off of Dealdash, which is why I am laughing. It's not here yet, but I am super excited.
Beckett's new favorite thing is, not taking his shirt off when we put him in his jammies. We love it when he sports the polo shirt under the footie pajamas.
In other news I finally decorated Elleree's Room. Well, almost all the way. I still have some other things I need to do.
I forgot to take pictures until I was already painting.
She got a lot of Owl stuff for Christmas to decorate with. "Too much owl stuff and not enough la la loopsy stuff" Elleree informed me later.
These bedrooms are huge, I tell ya. I think it turned out okay though.
Elleree also imformed me after I was done painting and cleaning up that I was not a good mom.
When she grows up she is going to be a good mom. She told me she will point out a good mom the next time she sees one. One reason I am not a good mom is because I don't let her have snacks before dinner. Well there you have people. All this time I thought there were other reasons I wasn't a good mom. Now I know the truth.
Truman said I was a good mom though. He said I was, because I make them popcorn and orange juliace and I make them do stuff, like their homework.

I was just thinking about your birthday yesterday! I can never remember what day it is, just that it's in January....Yes I am your most awesome friend. I am so happy that you had a great birthday this year. You look beautiful in the pictures! I love your hair! And Miss Elleree's room is very cute. I am in the you are a good mom camp!
Happy Birthday and very cute room. I always figure that when my kids tell me I'm mean or not a good mom, I must be doing something right. ;)
Happy 33!! Happy 13!!
I hope your 34th year on the planet and 14th year of marriage are fabulous.
You look so pretty in your birthday pictures. The spitting image of a bad mom. You ARE doing something right.
Can't wait to see this palatial estate you have going. I'll bring some DVDs to use the newly set up Theatre, and maybe set up a cot to give it some good use.
The tree wall in Ellerees room is GREAT! Are those owls on the headboard?
I have it on very good authority (teenage girls ARE good authiruties-just ask em) that one can NEVER have too many owls. The room looks Ab Fab! I love the tree! AND the. Owls, and the multiples of the letter E, AND the color. You are NOT a good mom, you are a FANTASTIC, beautiful (the b-day photos are proof) mom who is doing oh so many things right and making people laugh along the way is one of em.
Happy Happy start of a new year, another year of life and marriage. You really know how to kick the year off.
