Robust, Varmint, and Hay Hole, these are my new favorite words. Hay Hole comes from Truman. When we were at my mom's feeding the horses Truman was on top of the hay pile and he yelled and my mom and I " I fell in a hay hole". Mom and I started laughing and said "we hate hay holes".
The other two words came from my trip to Colorado to visit Alli. I listened to the kids watch the cartoons I watched as a kid and decided that the words robust and varmint are not used near enough these days.
First stop was a place called Miller Farms. It is this really fun farm. They have all the Cars cars the actual make and models of them it was really funny.
They have a pink tracker.
There is a ton of toys including this big bouncy thing.
Not alot of things that were fun for Beckett, so Jason hung out with him.
They had the tracker ride of coarse.
Corn maze, hay tower and tricycle trackers.
The kids had a good time, even if it was a little warm.
The best part for Jason was this farm takes you out on a little wagon and lets you pick as many vegetables as you want. They have corn, beans, peppers, pumpkins, potatoes, carrots they kids really enjoyed that too.
Next stop was the butterfly pavilion. They had some really cool exhibits. This one is a honey bee hive. It was super cool to watch the bees come in and out working, working, working.
They had this tarantula that they allowed anyone to hold. Dillon was all over that.
Surprisingly so was Truman.
Then we went into the pavilion. When we went to Seattle they had something like this at the children's museum, but this one was bigger, and had a few extras.
They had a place with all different types of cocoons from different countries, and you could sit and watch the butterflies emerge from them. It was really cool.
Beckett was not a big fan of them he would flinch as if they were going to hurt him. I never could get one to land on me, or hold one. I think I must smell funny or something.
Beckett did love their play area. He sat and talked/loved on this caterpillars face for some time.
We couldn't visit Allison without a trip to the rec. center.
They have this great indoor pool. Why don't they do things like this here? It is super cool the kids could stay here for hours, and they do.
Even Beckett splashed around a bit.
Dillon is starting to swim better this year. He has been able to pass all the pools we have gone to swim tests. He is very proud of himself.
It was a quick trip, but it was good. On the was home we stopped by Cheyenne, Jason's niece was blessed. It is a long trip, but worth it.

Looks like fun! I too am jealous of the cool pools other places have. Oh well. Glad you had a fun, safe trip!
It's nice you got warm weather! That looks like a totally fun trip. Dillon was sportin' a pretty fancy shirt I recognized! It's nice you are able to get down to see Alli so often. Great for the cousins. Fun times all around.
Hey Pardner!
Look out!
Thar's a robust, varmit in that thar hayhole!
What a FUN post!
So many fun places, things and cute lil faces!
I especially love the pic of Beckett and the caterpillar :0) (I may be 0partial to him cause he "appears" to have a similar basketball head to his crazy great auntie :0)
I want to go on those fun outings with you...looks like a lot more fun than what I'm doing.
That looks very fun. I love Hay hole. May have to start using that one myself.
Thanks for stopping by Cheyenne. It was great to see you guys for a few minutes. Your kids are too dang cute!
Well, I've used the term cakehole, but not hayhole.
I'm jotting that down for future games of scrabble.
The butterfly house is really fun (I love it anyway) and as always the kiddies are charmers.
